Barrington Tops Day 2
We visited the Chichester Dam... sampled the water...
Marvelled at the size of it from the bottom...
Walked to the top...
Peered over the edge...
Supplies water to the Hunter District...
Took in all the minor details...
Admired the views from the top... so much water!
This pipe runs for miles - through cattle properties and everywhere else...
Then we took a walk through Jerusalem Creek - 2km trail with lots of bridges...
Ending in a flat area with rocks...
Which we climbed...
And dipped our feet in the clear mountain water...
Shoes off...
We tried some rock climbing...
The beauty of our surrounds spurred some of us to dance...
Nothing like dancing in the wilderness...
This looks like a lovely place to go for a visit :)
ReplyDeleteYes Tania - it's breathtakingly beautiful. Australia's so dry but there are spots of pure loveliness tucked away.
