Barrington Tops Day 2
We visited the Chichester Dam... sampled the water... |
Marvelled at the size of it from the bottom... |
Walked to the top... |
Peered over the edge... |
Supplies water to the Hunter District... |
Took in all the minor details... |
Admired the views from the top... so much water! |
This pipe runs for miles - through cattle properties and everywhere else... |
Then we took a walk through Jerusalem Creek - 2km trail with lots of bridges... |
Ending in a flat area with rocks... |
Which we climbed... |
And dipped our feet in the clear mountain water... |
Shoes off... |
We tried some rock climbing... |
The beauty of our surrounds spurred some of us to dance... |
Nothing like dancing in the wilderness... |
This looks like a lovely place to go for a visit :)
ReplyDeleteYes Tania - it's breathtakingly beautiful. Australia's so dry but there are spots of pure loveliness tucked away.
