Grandma Shirley gave me these seeds which she 'thinks' are 'een choi' (Red Leaf Amaranth) - I hope so because these are supposed to grow like weeds! They work well in stir fries...
Seems like 'mystery' is the 'go to' word in my veggie patch this year... except for the strawberries, everything else just sprouted from the compost... tomatoes, pumpkin (I think), cucumbers! But I'm not fussy, as long as I harvest something I'm happy. Maybe come autumn I will 'plan' my garden better :)
I do like a mystery - lots of fun - i hope they germinate and produce lots of amaranth.
