Chicken run

Cut down the second hand screen door - added a cut out section at the bottom (needs to be enlarged) for a chicken door if needed.  Need to add wood filler top of door and also a strike plate for the door lock.  This has since been wired up. Door to do yet (adding wire).

Decided to just add thick shade cloth over the wired front (tied on so it is removable - probably rolled up).  The shower curtain doesn’t allow for ventilation.  At least this does. Still need to add tunnel between coop and run (from a chicken pop door on the side). Then later to add nestbox with access from the outside. Figure out some sort of feeder/watered - I don’t like the existing one - too much waste and gets messy with shavings all the time. 

I need to transition the chicks to the coop soon. They are off heat already (nights have been warm)!so I don’t need access to a power point.  I will throw a tarp over the run (probably part of it?) so the girls will have a covered area to run around in during the rainy season.
