The wall mounted guitar rack

Built and mounted...

Made from scrap wood and stuff I already had lying around...

The proof is in the pudding - Guitars now off the floor...

There were little dowels left from the old bed end which I contemplated sawing off but decided to leave it as is, turns out they are handy to put guitar paraphernalia on eg capos - those 2 bolt holes need to be filled with something decorative... maybe coloured rocks as an encouragement for him to 'rock on'?

Latch open when wanting to take guitar off mount...

Latch closed to make sure they don't get knocked off easily. You can just see the foamy bits (scrounged from my bubblewrap stash) I glued onto the edges where the guitar sits on the rack.
