Growing Dragon Fruit (Pitaya)
A friend from work gave Frank some Dragon Fruit (Pitaya) cuttings. I would've never believed that it was a succulent. It sat in the back porch for weeks unplanted. The kids are back at school today so I took the opportunity to finally plant it out after doing some research. I zip-tied 4 garden stakes together for the central post to tie the cuttings on (and topped it with a metal grill I had lying around - I think it needs to be bigger but that can be worked out later if the cuttings take), built a roller pot stand so I could wheel it around and then watered it in...
