Egg hunt days

Shelter set up to encourage easy egg collecting...

 

 

The girls are free-ranged on a daily basis and have sought varies obscure places in the garden to lay their eggs.  Of particular note is Nutmeg (Nutty Nutmeg as we call her) who persists in finding weird and wonderful spots throughout the garden to lay her eggs... when we finally find her stash to collect, she will promptly decide that it's no longer a 'safe' spot anymore and move on... hence every couple of days an 'Find Nutmeg and her eggs' day is pronounced and the whole family scours the garden corners in search for the elusive egg layer.  Cinnamon on the other hand is happy to lay in this temporary made 'shelter' (much to my relief).
