Gardening in Winter

The Spirea bush that lived in the far left corner of the picture was starting to die back so I hacked it back real hard and tried to dig it out - to no avail... I was rather hoping to move the letter box into that spot so that it's not surrounded by foliage.  Where there's a hole in the middle of the Agapanthus is where the Mulberry tree will be...

The side of the driveway's been looking a bit sad since we removed the dying Bottlebrush.  Planning to move more of the Nadina bushes from another part of the garden and also some Dietes to fill it up a bit.
