Bread and Butter Pickles

As inspired by L in 500m2 in Sydney and with the original recipe from Liz at Suburban Tomato I embarked on some of my own.  I didn't have tumeric or mustard seeds handy so I left them out... I sampled a couple before they went in the jar... yum...
