Hunter Valley Weekend

Our weekend in the Hunter Valley didn't just involve the wedding.  We tried to include some of the more child friendly activities to make it memorable for the kids.  Since wine tasting was off the menu, we instead did the following...

A farm stay where Pip was ecstatic to be granted her own double bed to sleep on - Ethan gallantly slept on the couch

Farm stay complete with local alpacas (newly shorn) - brown one named Eugene was Pip's favourite

Visiting neighbour's dog aptly named 'Grog' to suit the region

Pip had a close encounter with her favourite animal right now - she's horse mad - living up to her name!

Angora goats were friendly too.

A visit to the local Hunter Valley Gardens Lolly shop didn't go amiss

And to cap it all off - a visit to the famous Hunter Valley Gardens where I was enchanted by the Story Book Garden
