I didn't deliberately plant one out... the chook food has sunflower seeds in it and because I rake up the run to put into the compost, this must've been the stray seed that didn't get eaten. It is a thing of beauty though. It's just such a 'happy' flower. My thoughts turned to sunflowe...That looks lovely. My thoughts turned to sunflowers yesterday when I was wandering the nursery looking for seedlings to plant in the vegetable garden. I'm wanting to mix the sunflowers in with the corn or maybe the beans or snow peas.
